Since 2010, the GRASS Group's international environmental management system has been certified according to ISO 14001. GRASS's strong environmental commitment and dedicated projects dating back many years are entirely rooted in our love of nature. MOVEMENT SYSTEMS Heat require- ments reduced through heat recovery. Compressor and exhaust gas heat exchange systems with a total output of over 3000 kW also improve our carbon footprint. 40% waste reduction: 640 tonnes per year. The volume of non-recyclable waste has been reduced from 1530 tonnes to 905 tonnes per year. CO2 savings: 640 tonnes per year. Extensive energy efficiency measures have significantly re- duced our CO 2 emissions. Recycling of steel waste. 6650 tonnes per year. 100% of steel waste generated during production is recycled. Energy savings: 18% reduction in power con- sumption. Reduction in overall electricity demand from 62 million kWh to 51 million kWh per year in the last 5 years. 8
