GRASS Sustainability Commitment Because we live and work in one of the most beautiful regions in the world, we share a responsibility to conserve natural resources. Green power: In-house com- bined heat and power plant in Höchst. With an output of 2000 kWh, the combined heat and power plant covers 75% of our electrical energy requirement. The waste heat can then be used to heat the premises or, in summer, to provide a substantial proportion of the cooling capacity via the absorption refrigerator. GRASS drawer systems are almost 100% recyclable and do not contain any hazardous sub- stances or substances specified in the REACH regulation*. * Substances of very high concern on the candidate list for approval in the EU.
