Soft Geometry.

Arrital

Edges becoming softer.

The geometry also is getting softer. Although the kitchen will remain architecturally themed in 2026, its appearance is less stringent. Round table elements on kitchen islands, recesses, softer edges, protruding doors, broken cubes and organically blurred monoliths were omnipresent.

Scavolini showed curves, Häcker worked with recesses and soft transitions, Arclinea combined a monumental worktop with a round table element.

Lube

Broken geometries were also staged by Stosa, Lube and SCIC. It’s not about playfulness like in the seventies, nor about psychedelic shapes. The kitchen remains mature in character, but it has become less harsh.

There is still stringent architecture, but it now has a human touch.
