Units were dominated by matt, dark, beige, integrated, less obvious elements. Light was everywhere, but rarely spectacular. AI, sensor systems and smart functions played a role, but they were rarely staged in a futuristic way, but rather as assistance and convenience features to make everyday life easier.

With Pearlbeige, Miele showed that even electrical appliances can become part of a homely colour scheme. Siemens opted for matt black. Veneta Cucine integrated beige appliances into a calm material concept. In 2026, smart kitchens are not seeking special effects, but discreet intelligence.
There is a clear kitchen trend at Häcker: light is no longer only used functionally, but interpreted as a subtle design element. Elegant, understated light emphasis highlights the kitchen’s architecture, creates atmosphere and effectively showcases materials.
At the same time, the technology is becoming increasingly more seamlessly integrated into the overall image. Units are seamlessly integrated and visually blend in, creating a calm, high-quality and consistent kitchen design.
